At the first CCW event on June 6th, 2021, Andre Kabashi expressed his intention to take over City Championship Wrestling. A tournament was held during the event to crown the ‘Center Line Heritage Cup.’ In the opening match between Freedom Ramsey and Jay Abrams, it was evident that Abrams was more focused on causing damage to Ramsey than on winning. In the next quarter-final, Kabashi paid off his opponent to take a count-out loss. In the semi-final, Kabashi showed up with Jay Abrams, indicating that he had hired him to remove Freedom. However, Freedom prevailed against the odds and reached the finals. On August 20th, 2023, Kabashi became the City Championship Wrestling Heavyweight Champion by winning an eight-man duel named ‘Survival of the Fittest.’ He successfully defended his championship against “Cat Daddy” Paul Bowser on Saturday, October 14th, at ‘A Night to Remember.’ He retained his title in a three-way fight against “The Alpha” Chris Moore and Darion Ultra at Throwdown on November 26th, 2023. At Loaded on November 4th, he defeated “The Cat Daddy” Paul Bowser in a brutal Unsanctioned championship vs. career chain match. After ending Bowser’s career, Kabashi successfully defended his title against Paragon, making it his fourth successful defense. At Keep it Movin’ Two on March 1st, 2024, an injury changed the number one contender’s about, which became a three-way match between “The Natural” Lance Starr, the debuting Pastor C-Lo, and Champion Andre Kabashi. Kabashi narrowly escaped with his title. Now, on June 1st, 2024, at the third-anniversary event, Andre Kabashi defends his title against Freedom Ramsey – a match THREE YEARS in the making.
