Freedom Ramsey kicked off City Championship Wrestling by defeating three opponents in a single night to capture the ‘Center Line Heritage Cup’! He survived the “Big Gun” Jay Abrams. Then he managed to beat Andre Kabashi with Jay Abrams in his corner. All before toppling the “Cat Daddy” Paul Bowser to win it all!
From there Freedom Ramsey has been on a metaphorical roller coaster, as weeks later he would find himself opposed by the New Albania (Andre Kabashi, Jay Abrams and Ajay Andaaz). He would fight, scratch and claw until it wasn’t enough and he was forced to join New Albania. He would regain his name, Freedom Ramsey, and regain his literal freedom from the group.
He would rid CCW of Ajay Andaaz on Oct. 31st Halloween Special in a Hair vs. Name match, the very same match he lost his freedom in last time. Now there would be a new stipulation in place: loser leaves City Championship Wrestling. Freedom scored the ‘W’ and cut Ajay’s hair and ousted him from the promotion. Freedom is still on a mission to stop New Albania but that has been shrouded with allies becoming foes when they put their personal matters above the mission.
Now, New Albania has grown in strength and Freedom has been forced to take a detour by the “Next Era” Ryan Matthias. After losing to Andre Kabashi in Survival of the Fittest to become the first ever heavyweight champion. Freedom Ramsey and Ryan Matthias, who was forced to miss the Survival of the Fittest tournament due to a scheduling conflict. Cat Daddy has been named the number one contender by management, while the number two and three contenders (Freedom and Ryan) will team up to compete in the tournament to crown the first ever tag team champions on Saturday, October 14th 2023 at ‘A Night to Remember’. How will this odd couple of adversaries fare as a team!?
