This week on City Championship Wrestling, we take a look back at a special event to say the least. We start our look back at August 20th’s Survival of the Fittest, in the first of three parts, where we crowned our first ever Heavyweight Champion!
We begin our look back with the first two qualifying matches of the night.
First, we start with a rematch from August 4th’s SummerFest with A’Jhuan Gains looking to avenge his loss at the hands of “The Natural” Lance Starr at SummerFest. Will The Natural secure his spot in Survival of the Fittest to name the first heavyweight champion or will rookie, A’Jhuan Gains make a name for himself at the expenses of Lance Starr?
Then we zip to qualifier number two, as the Leader of the Darion Nation, Darion Ultra steps into the ring with “The Alpha” Chris Moore! Can Chris Moore claim his spot in the Survival of the Fittest or can The Leader of the Darion Nation take The Alpha down a notch in the City Championship Wrestling food chain!?
It was hot outside and even hotter inside and with Bubba Mackenzie & Paul Jones on the call, you know it’s going to be a good time!
